Compensatory patterns can cause pain and dysfunction. Let's get rid of them!
Kendal likes to blend her NMR & massage with Pilates as movement re-education. For example, if you opted for a blended program, over the course of 6 or 8 weeks, you would receive postural & movement assessments and your sessions would consist of exercises and/or NMR & massage, depending on your need & desired outcome. The goal for Kendal is usually to increase your pain-free function and range of motion. She is always happy to accomodate any additional goals you may have. You can, of course, just book massages or pilates sessions.

“Humans are made to move. When we are sedentary, we lose our health. The goal of my work is to help keep people moving.”
Kendal has been a Therapeutic Bodyworker since 2006 and truly loves her job. She specializes in NeuroMuscular Reprogramming & Rehabilitative Pilates. She also enjoys the effectiveness of MyoFascial Release and uses a broad range of techniques in her treatments.
Kendal is fascinated with anatomy and kinesiology, approaching each client with a combination of knowledge, from study and experience, and openness to what each individual presents. She tries to keep her view holistic and realistic.
As a mom, Martial Artist & ex-Gymnast with typical related injuries, & as a breast cancer survivor, Kendal appreciates the full range of physical condition from being athletic to just being able to get out of bed. She has extensive experience working with the aging population, pre & post-natal women, knee & hip replacements & issues, bulging spinal discs and other spinal issues, rotator cuff injuries, piriformis syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and many other conditions & populations.
Kendal’s training began here, in the Bay Area, at the Institute of Conscious Bodywork and Body Arts & Science International, and included Massage Therapist training in Seattle, WA, where Massage is considered a medical practice. She still studies many hours every year, because she likes it.
